“This summer was particularly wet, which really exacerbated some existing problems with our roof. Many slates needed replacing, and as Nico discovered, slates were required where they didn’t exist to start with. He was quick to come and have a look, flexible about his availability, and more explorative than any surveyor ever was. I promptly received a very reasonable quote. When he came to do the roof replacement job in August, Nico and his team were most professional. They managed to erect scaffolding where we hadn’t thought possible, despite tricky access points, and were clean and efficient. They worked hard over a ten-day period to get the job completed to spec and left no mess, always respecting our personal space. The end product was a new slate roof, finished very nicely, including some pointing and guttering replaced/added. It’s hard to find people these days who seem to go the extra mile and Nico was that. I will certainly use him again and have recommended him to my friends.”
